Over the summer Eric and I decided to put our house in Newberg on the market. We have been renting it for over a year, but our home is here now, and Rogue Valley real estate calls . . .

So, after about over a month on the market and a well-received price reduction, our little house in Newberg has been sold. We fielded several offers (we are thinking of becoming tycoons, actually), and finally accepted a full-price offer. We are currently in escrow, and will close on Nov. 17.

The  house on N. Meridian was very comfortable and cozy, and just what we needed during our time up there. That said, we couldn't be happier about moving on, and are looking forward to investing down here. In the two years we owned it, it appreciated rapidly, and I am thrilled to report that we will be debt-free after the deal goes through (well, except for our student loans and our cars -- but those don't count, right?).

In fact, we already have our eye on a house down here . . . more on that later! Keep your fingers crossed for us!
